Today our little man is a year old... I can honestly say this has been the most amazing, rewarding, challenging and wonderful year of our lives! Every day is a blessing with this little munchkin. He laughs and smiles constantly (showing all 8 teeth), and loves to be the center of attention. He claps and does "TOUCHDOWN" (arms above his head), signs eat, drink, more, doggie, and hat... He gives high fives, waves hi and bye, and is working on blowing kisses. He loves kitties and doggies, gives wet sloppy kisses, and gets into everything. His favorite thing to do is pull everything out of the cupboards and mommy's make-up box. He loves "wrestling" with Daddy and sleep-overs at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He plays basketball with Uncle Karl and is developing a love for ESPN. He likes to go to sleep snuggling a yellow blanket with a bear on top that we have named "Bear-bear."
This morning he had a birthday pancake for breakfast... he was facinated by the candle for a minute, but got very upset when Mommy took the plate away to remove it before he could eat his pancake. He LOVES to eat and quickly loses his temper if you remove the food from sight!
His birthday party is Saturday and I'll be sure to post photos afterwards...
He is the light in our lives and we are so blessed to have him. We praise and thank God every day for giving us such a joyful, healthy, happy boy!
